4 Days Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi tour

Day 1, By Road travel to Bwindi
Our experienced driver guide will pick you to from your Hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On your way, you will have a stopover at Kayabwe for the Equator experiments and also get a chance to see the line that separates the Northern Hemisphere from the Southern Hemisphere. Proceed to Mbarara town for lunch at Agip or Zebra Hotel and later continue with your journey to the Park. Reach Bwindi in the evening and upon arrival, you will retire to your assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Bandas or Wagtail Eco Safari Camp for Budget/ Nkuringo Gorilla Camp or Buhoma Lodge for Mid range / Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Resort or Gorilla Forest Camp for Luxury

Day 2, Bwindi Gorilla Trek
You will wake up very early in the morning for breakfast and transfer to your starting point for the Gorilla trek briefing which is made by the Uganda Wildlife Authority wardens. You are advised to travel with your lunch boxes and bottled water.  Your ranger guide will lead you to the forest and will guide you along the way about the flora and fauna existing in the forest until when you reach the Gorilla family allocated to you. The Mountain Gorillas are so extra ordinary and they are one of the most elating primate encounter in the world. There are currently only almost 700 still existing in the world and almost half of these Gorillas are found in Bwindi in Uganda. Depending on where the Gorillas were last night, the trek takes between 2 to 8 hours. However an encounter with these friendly primates will be so exciting and wonderful (Once a life time encounter and experience which is hard to forget). Their encounter will enable you to forget all the steep slopes and valleys you have gone through. After meeting them, you will return back to your lodge for relaxation, refreshments, dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Bandas or Wagtail Eco Safari Camp for Budget/ Nkuringo Gorilla Camp or Buhoma Lodge for Mid range / Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Resort or Gorilla Forest Camp for Luxury

Day 3, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale which is famously known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa”. Upon reaching Lake Bunyonyi, you will have lunch and in the afternoon take a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi to visit the different local communities on different Islands including the Batwa. Dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia cottages for Luxury/Bunyonyi Overland Resort for Budget/Bushara Island Camp for mid range

Day 4, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara.
